Auction

Winning Bid

The highest qualifying bid accepted for a parcel at auction.

A reported winning bid shows what someone offered. It does not prove the buyer paid; defaults happen, and some counties resell parcels when the winner fails to pay.

Compare winning bids with assessed values cautiously. Neither number is a market appraisal.
