Property Issues

Landlocked

A property with no legal access to a public road.

Landlocked parcels are common at tax sales because they are hard to use and sell. A dirt track across a neighbor's land is not legal access unless an easement exists.

Getting access may require buying an easement or going to court, which can cost more than the parcel.
