Property Issues
Occupied Property
A tax sale property where the former owner, tenants, or others still live.
Many homes at tax sales are occupied. Occupants may include former owners, tenants with rights under local law, or squatters.
Inspections are usually impossible, so condition is unknown. Plan for a lawful possession process and its cost.
